Bringing in the Loot

This is part of the In My Mailbox series hosted by The Story Siren. It's been a slow two weeks for me. I have finally collected the rest of my books for my Dystopian Reading challenge and am now picking up books to read after the first of the year.

From the library:

The Children of Men by P.D. James (Challenge)
Eco-Craft: Recycle, Recraft, Restyle by Susan Wasinger (I'm a very crafty person)
Stones into Schools by Greg Mortenson (Sounds like another books I loved Leaving Microsoft to Change the World by John Wood)
The Giver by Lois Lowry (Challenge)

Also, I received this last week but decided to wait until this week to post it, my book blogger swap package! My exchangee will be receiving their gift this week (I had troule tracking down one last item and finally found it) so it will be going out in the mail soon. My gift box was loaded with goodies!

Secret Santa Swag BoxI got a sweet card, a Barnes and Noble gift card, my favorite spritzer of Japanese Cherry Blossom, lots of swag (book marks, a signed book plate, cards for books) and Karen Roses's Kill For Me. A big thank you shout out to Valorie @ Morbid Romantic for the wonderful gift package!

Well, that's all for my haul this week. What did you get?

I just went to see Greg Mortenson this past week at an event my mom picked up Stones into Schools, while I finally bought Three Cups of Tea, which I haven't read yet. Sounds fascinating. Happy reading!
